Privacy Policy
What this tool is
yt-studio is a private tool that uploads and manages videos on YouTube channels owned or managed by its operator and the channel owners who explicitly connect their accounts. It uses the YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Data we access
When you connect a YouTube channel, Google asks you to grant these permissions:
- youtube.upload — to upload videos and thumbnails to your channel;
- youtube.readonly — to read your channel's name and ID, the status of uploaded videos and their public statistics (views, likes, comments counts);
- youtube.force-ssl — to update the title, description, tags, privacy status and publication time of videos uploaded by the tool, and to read and reply to comments on them.
We do not access your email, contacts, Google Drive or any other Google data, and we never act on videos the tool did not upload unless you ask it to.
How we use it
Only to provide the functions above for your own channel: publishing the videos produced for it, keeping their metadata current, scheduling, and showing their performance to the channel owner in the tool's private dashboard. We do not sell, rent or share YouTube data with third parties, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train AI models. yt-studio's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and security
OAuth tokens and the data listed above are stored on a private server controlled by the operator, in files readable only by the tool's service account, and are transmitted only over encrypted connections to Google. Statistics are kept as long as the channel stays connected.
Retention, deletion and revoking access
You can disconnect a channel at any time from the tool, or revoke the tool's access in your Google Account security settings. When a channel is disconnected or access is revoked, its tokens are deleted immediately and its stored YouTube data within 30 days. Cached YouTube API data is refreshed or deleted at least every 30 days, as the YouTube API Services policies require. To ask for deletion, write to y.guler@versiyonbir.com.
Children
The tool is not directed at children and is used only by adult channel owners.
